We contract with specialist local companies, who carry out the day-to-day operations of the asset.
NTR monitors the performance across all of our projects in real time. We look at a wide range of factors including availability, power curve performance, equipment stresses, and maintenance downtime.
We aim to enhance the value of the projects beyond the initial expectation. We continuously review each asset against the original investment case, and we frequently enhance the value of the projects beyond the initial expectation. We do that through a range of risk management and optimisation activities, such as:
- Statistical analysis of ways to enhance production
- Critical asset maintenance
- Developing new income lines via grid services
- Securing new Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
- Negotiating power price lock ins
- Extending the life of the asset
